Owen Richards began photographing music as a teenager in Exeter. Capturing the energy of punk rock gigs with a battered old nikon he became submerged in DIY music culture and started shooting live commissions for Plan B magazine. Now based in London Owen continues to immerse the spirit of new and exciting music and his photos have been used in critically acclaimed publications (Dazed and Confused, The Guardian, NME, The Stool Pigeon, Loud & Quiet) and record labels (Warp, XL Recordings, Wichita, Merge Records) with worldwide recognition.
